MVP Celebrates 11th Record Breaking Year

MVP 2019 Girls: 8/20 – 8/23; MVP 2019 Boys: 8/25 – 8/29

(Courtesy of MVP Camps) MVP, the premier Jewish Orthodox basketball camp located at beautiful Camp Seneca Lake, under the direction of Irv Bader and Judah and Carol Rhine, is celebrating its 11th Season. MVP Boys and MVP Girls basketball and tennis camps are looking forward once again to another record breaking registration and enrollment.

MVP teaches its campers the fundamentals of the game through clinics, drills and skills competitions emphasizing good sportsmanship, Torah values and midot both on and off the court. MVP stresses the importance of individual as well as team growth. The jam packed daily schedule features instruction, league games by division, as well as 3 on 3, 2 on 2, 1 on 1 contests, the much anticipated annual MVP Endurance Challenge for the senior division and divisional All Star games. MVP has an experienced staff along with guest instructors. Counselors/coaches are former yeshiva league players and former MVP campers who share their experiences with the current MVP campers.

Safety is our #1 priority with 24 hour security and a licensed EMT on the premises at all times.

The grounds and facilities at Camp Seneca Lake are second to none. All bunks are air conditioned. The three daily minyanim take place in the air conditioned shul. Facilities include the Seneca Center Dome, the MVP courts, the favorite Seneca Park with stadium seating, all lit for night play, in addition to other indoor courts. MVP campers enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools featuring the giant Seneca Slide and a poolside hot tub Jacuzzi. Delicious and gourmet glatt kosher meals are served in the air conditioned dining room. Every afternoon, the line starts forming after lunch at the Seneca Sprinkles ice cream parlor. Following exciting night games and individual skills competitions, the famous MVP nighttime BBQs take place at the state of the art Canteen. The BBQs give all the MVP players across all the divisions and schools the opportunity to meet and interact with each other. MVP culminates in the annual closing awards ceremony, where over 100 awards are distributed to champions from the many competitions that took place during the course of camp, including the MVP awards to the MVPs of each of the league divisions, championship teams and MVP All Stars.

Each MVP player will receive a reversible MVP jersey. Before boarding the buses home, every boy MVP player will receive a new for 2019, Klipped Kippah! Girl MVP players receive a surprise gift as well.
