On Yom HaShoah, Naaleh students had the privilege to hear from Sonya Klein, a Holocaust survivor who shared harrowing stories of her own experiences in the Warsaw Ghetto, four concentration camps and the Death March. The most remarkable part of Klein’s rhetoric was her enduring faith in Hashem and her unyielding commitment to continue to speak about the Holocaust despite the psychological ramifications of reliving the horrors of her life. Klein pledged that as long as God gives her a voice, she will continue to share her message, “because the price of sharing is far less weighty then the price of not.”
