For Yom HaShoah, all of the Naaleh students gathered for a moving commemorative program. The event featured a first hand, riveting account of survival during WWII from Henry Schanzer, who hid in the French countryside with his twin brother. In addition to this, the senior choir delivered a heartfelt performance, and six students and faculty members lit candles and shared stories of family members lost during the Holocaust, serving as a reminder of the six million Jews who perished. The entire program was a touching tribute to the memory of those who suffered during the Shoah.
