Naaleh commemorated Yom HaShoah with a poignant presentation. Holocaust survivor Michael Epstein shared his incredible journey from Łódź, Poland, to a Siberian work camp, and later to a displaced persons camp before he came to America at the age of 13.

Following his moving testimony, six students and faculty members shared stories of their own family members affected by the Holocaust and lit yahrzeit candles in their memory. The entire school then stood in silence as the sound of a siren honored the millions of lives lost.
