Naaleh students and faculty gathered for a poignant commemoration ceremony honoring the events of October 7. The program, which was themed “Moving Forward, But Never Moving On,” included a powerful recap video and stories of individuals the Jewish people encountered since the tragedy. Students reflected and journaled about their experiences over the past year and on what they wish to carry forward. A yahrzeit ceremony followed during which each student was assigned a victim’s story and lit a candle in their memory. The school recited the entire book of Tehillim and concluded with a heartfelt kumzitz, uniting in tefillah and remembrance.
