Naaleh held a deeply meaningful Yom Kippur yom iyun. The event started with hataras nedarim led by the Naaleh rabbis. Then Rabbi Rothwachs, rabbi of Beth Aaron, addressed the students about looking back on a very challenging year and focusing on the positive for the year ahead. The students then had the opportunity to learn in smaller groups and they chose from various workshops given by the halacha department followed by an activity where they prepared their own personal viduys with faculty guidance. Each student received a bookmark with the names of hostages to use in their machzor during their Yom Kippur tefillos. Special thanks to Rabbi Goldberg and the halacha department for organizing this impactful program, which left students feeling more spiritually prepared for Yom Kippur.
