Naaleh Biology Students Create Children’s Books

Students in Naaleh’s Biology class recently studied diseases. The students were divided into groups and they each studied inheritance patterns, symptoms, and treatments of specific diseases. Each group then created a children’s book about their disease which focused on how young children can approach someone who may look or act different from them, with the message that Hashem makes everyone special. After completing their books, the ninth graders walked to Anshei Lubavitch in Fair Lawn and read their books to the 4-5 year olds and handed out stickers and prizes. It was a wonderful way for the students to put their projects to use and to develop their leadership skills.
