All last week, alongside classes, Naaleh had amazing programming to capture the Chanukah energy. On Monday, there was Big Sister/Little Sister relay races and doughnut decorating. Tuesday began with a Hallel choir and ended with an amazing chagiga! There was a latke bar, dessert table, photo booth and, of course, the highlight of the night, a silent DJ celebration run by Digital Dov Katz! On Wednesday, the students heard from guest speakers Rabbi Yaakov Glasser and Rabbi Yehuda Willig who both shared words of Torah connected to different aspects of Chanukah. This led to a school-wide chesed project in partnership with JFS of Passaic-Clifton to prepare gelt-o-grams for the elderly in our communities. What an incredible and uplifting week!
