Last Wednesday, the entire Naaleh dedicated time to chesed with each grade going to separate organizations to volunteer. The ninth grade went to the Yad Leah clothing gemach where they sorted clothing to be sent to Israel. The 10th grade went to Tomchei Shabbos in Rockland County and packed food boxes that will be delivered to families for Shabbos. The 11th grade went to HASC Gan Ezra, a special ed preschool in Monsey, where they helped out in the classrooms and made Chanukah projects. The 12th grade went to Kosher Troops in Monsey where they prepared packages that will be sent to Jewish soldiers in the American military all around the world. The experience was an enjoyable and meaningful chance for the students to work together and give back to the community.
