This year ushers in important expansion and milestones for Naaleh High School for Girls. As a result of its incredible growth, the school welcomes 19 new faculty members for the 2021-2022 school year, including Dean of Academics Mrs. Elissa Chanales; Director of Teaching and Educational Systems Mrs. Ricki Kurtz; and Director of IT/Ed Tech Mrs. Julie Friedman. At the end of August, the new staff joined the rest of the faculty for two days of meaningful professional development focused on school culture, defining the Naaleh student experience, and identifying ways to reach every student emotionally and academically. Guest speaker Rabbi Burry Klein, MSW, shared insights on creating and sustaining connections with students. The sessions and workshops inspired and recharged the teachers to eagerly welcome back their students, including Naaleh’s first ever graduating class!
