Aliyot, Naaleh’s chapter of the National Honors Society, had the unique opportunity to attend “Our Town” on Broadway. This classic American play, written by Thornton Wilder, takes audiences on a journey through the lives of the residents of Grover’s Corners, exploring the beauty in the commonalities of life, love and the inevitability of the highs and lows of the life cycle. The staging, set in a stripped-down, minimalist style, also gave students insight into Wilder’s vision and his desire to focus on universal human experiences. The students enjoyed the star-studded cast, and it was a special opportunity to see this production during its short stint on Broadway. They are already looking forward to the next culture trip!
