Naaleh was privileged to host Moshe Moskowitz, father of Naaleh students Dova (‘24) and Sarelle (‘26), and a survivor of the 9/11 attacks. He shared the incredible story of how he was alerted to leave his office on the 79th floor before his tower was hit, and how living through the tragedy changed the course of his life and brought him closer to Judaism. Ten years after the attacks, he reached out to the man who warned him to escape, and that same man is now the guest of honor at every important event of their family that would not exist if it were not for him. Moskowitz inspired the students with messages of hakaras hatov and living each day to its fullest, and reminded them to reflect on the events they experience while being open to signs that there is room for change in their lives.
