In the weeks before Pesach, Naaleh invited four local rabbis to speak to each grade about the upcoming chag. Naaleh’s own Rabbi Andrew Markowitz from Shomrei Torah in Fair Lawn spoke to the ninth grade, the 10th grade heard from Rabbi Beni Krohn of Young Israel of Teaneck, the 11th grade heard from Rabbi Tani Cohen of Beth of Abraham in Bergenfield, and the 12th grade heard from Rabbi Chaim Poupko of Ahavath Torah in Englewood. After the shiurim, the students were given the opportunity to ask practical questions about the halachot of Pesach. It was a wonderful experience for the girls to consult with local rabbanim and to receive inspiration for the fast approaching holiday.
