Naaleh Hosts Fun Student Orientation

At orientation, the Naaleh students heard from the administrators about what to expect from the school year including new policies and procedures and exciting new spaces in the building. The girls created beautiful magnetic locker signs with motivational phrases relating to the school-wide student life theme of “yagati u’matzati, I have persevered, and I have succeeded.’ Next, the 10th and 11th grades competed against the 12th grade in The Live Game Show. The girls had to vote on topics like a Naaleh girl’s most typical lunch, and the most common reasons someone is marked absent in class. There were rounds that featured faculty and administration like Guess My Previous Job and Top Secret. Girls received their schedules as they left, feeling invigorated and enthusiastic about the school year.

The freshman class had their own orientation where they were welcomed to Naaleh. They played Minute To Win It, run by Naaleh’s G.O., and they competed in wrapping each other in streamers, stuffing oversized T-shirts with balloons and eating whipped cream hands-free. They got to know the seniors, who helped prepare them for the beginning of school, and they played a game of Naaleh Bingo with their mechanchot to review the information they learned. It was a wonderful time in which the girls had the opportunity to warm up to their new classmates, faculty and environment.
