Naaleh’s ninth grade parents attended a program by Dr. Norman Blumenthal entitled “Hidden Signs of Teen Anxiety and Stress: How Parents Can Help.” After discussing various factors responsible for increases in anxiety among both adults and adolescents, Dr. Blumenthal highlighted the central role that parents can play in helping their children cope with stress and anxiety. Dr. Blumenthal underscored the importance of making stress management techniques, healthy living and family connection a regular part of family life. Naaleh is so grateful to their partnership with Ohel which enabled them to benefit from Dr. Blumenthal’s guidance and expertise.
