On Tuesday, February 26, Naaleh High School for Girls welcomed prospective freshmen for an evening of creativity and bonding. The goal of the event was for the girls to come together and to engage with prospective classmates and with current Naaleh faculty in a relaxed, fun environment. The feature presentation of the program was a paint night, led step-by-step by Naaleh’s visual arts teacher, Renee Schneier. The girls connected and socialized with students from other schools and communities through ice breakers, painting and while roasting marshmallows for S’mores, dipping an array of treats in a chocolate fountain and enjoying delicious fruit smoothies! Each took home a Naaleh cup housing a trivia game entitled “Are You Ready to be a Naaleh Ninth Grader?” The card contained 10 challenging trivia questions submitted by Naaleh teachers from their ninth grade curricula to provide a sampling of the material that the freshmen will learn next year. Prizes await those who submit correctly!
