On Friday, Naaleh students were fortunate to hear thoughts and insights on Megillat Esther from Rabbi Aharon Ciment. Rabbi Ciment stressed that the greatness of the Purim miracle, which spurred our willing reacceptance of the Torah, was that it relied on the involvement and cooperation of each and every Jew. In this way, the Purim miracle was completely unique and beloved to Bnei Yisrael, who had historically experienced many extravagant miracles, but only in the merit of their leaders or forefathers. Rabbi Ciment charged every student to appreciate their distinct worth and ability to alter both their personal and national destiny.
