As part of the school’s Chesed Cheshvan initiative, Naaleh’s 11th graders took a trip to the Masbia Soup Kitchens in Brooklyn. At both the Borough Park and Flatbush locations, the students eagerly lent their hands to help. They assisted in organizing pantry items and served meals to those in need.
Naaleh’s 12th graders went on their own Chesed Cheshvan trip to volunteer at HASC in Monsey. In groups, the girls and children had a great time decorating classrooms with ברוכים הבאים signs. They also played and sang together, bringing a smile to everyone’s faces. Both the HASC children and the Naaleh students enjoyed tremendously!
All of the Naaleh students have valued their time learning about the many wonderful organizations that provide chesed and tzedaka to our communities, and they have loved being able to contribute directly to these efforts.
