Naaleh Juniors Have Unforgettable Jewish History Trip

Naaleh’s 11th graders had an incredible learning experience on their Jewish history trip. Over the course of two days, they traveled to various locations in New York and New Jersey, where they visited different Jewish communities and learned about ahavas Yisroel. The trip was packed with activities, including visits to the Telz Kollel, Yeshiva University, Breuers, the Syrian community, Satmar, Skver and Chabad. The students learned about the histories and unique characteristics of each community from a variety of people including grandmothers, educators and girls their own age. For example, in Williamsburg, they saw the chesed involved in the community’s daily life by visiting a soup kitchen and a bridal gemach. The students also had a blast at American Dream and enjoyed bonding time at the hotel in the evening. The trip was an unforgettable experience, giving the students a deeper understanding of their heritage and what it means to be part of the greater Jewish community.
