Naaleh juniors are loving their new nutrition elective with Stephanie Greenspan, a registered dietitian and new addition to Naaleh. They have covered topics including how their bodies work: macronutrients—proteins, lipids and fats; micronutrients—vitamins and minerals; added sugar found in foods and artificial sweeteners. In honor of Parshat Noach, they did a lesson on ‘rainbow foods’ which included preparing rainbow spring rolls! They are looking forward to more fun and informative lessons throughout the year.
