The Naaleh freshmen participated in an interactive workshop, Student Strategies for Success, given by Jamie Lehrhoff, MA, LDT-C, founder and director of the Livingston Educational Center. Lehrhoff helped the girls identify their primary learning styles—auditory, visual and tactile—and then taught them strategies that they could use to enhance their learning and retention in each of these modalities. She emphasized time management, organizational skills and the importance of developing a daily plan of action. The girls look forward to implementing many of these strategies to enhance their growth and success in high school and beyond.
