On Motzei Shabbat, November 9, over 400 prospective students and parents were welcomed by student ambassadors, faculty members and parent representatives at the Naaleh Open House. Deena Kobre, head of school, invited students to explore the three pillars of Naaleh: academic rigor, co-curricular programming and relationships. Throughout the evening, prospective students had the opportunity to hear from current students and faculty—including mechanchot and madrichot—about the myriad of opportunities Naaleh presents, from its unique course and elective offerings to its extracurricular teams, clubs and student-driven committees. While students engaged in STEM and studio art presentations, parents had the opportunity to hear presentations from the guidance department and a sampling of faculty members, who discussed their educational philosophy, curricular goals and methodology. The energy was palpable as prospective students and parents experienced the materialization of Naaleh’s vision while mingling with representatives of the Naaleh community, whose pride and optimism spoke for themselves.
