After hearing news of the tragic passing of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, zt”l, Naaleh mobilized to pay tribute to his timeless wisdom and teachings. Across Tanach classes, teachers incorporated articles and videos into their lessons to give students a glimpse into Rabbi Sacks’ rich worldview, sophisticated perspective on Torah, and his deep love for mankind. Students chose different quotes from his teachings that resonated with them personally, and arranged them on a large poster, now displayed prominently in the hallway with Rabbi Sacks’ picture. It was a meaningful opportunity to capture the wisdom, humor and humility of such a unique Jewish leader and role model.
