The Bergenfield Library is currently featuring a special display of Naaleh student work as part of the Jewish Community Council of Greater Teaneck’s 2023 annual Yom HaShoah Holocaust commemoration. The exhibit showcases Naaleh’s junior studio art class’ poignant and thought-provoking “Sole Witness” project, which pays tribute to individuals who suffered in the Shoah. Each plaster cast shoe represents a unique personality and story of a victim, and is decorated with careful attention to detail by the students. All are invited to visit the Bergenfield Library’s basement level to view this moving display. Naaleh is planning to feature a larger selection of the artwork at the Teaneck library in May.
