Naaleh’s freshmen and seniors enjoyed special grade shabbatons this past weekend. The freshman shabbaton was in Passaic, where they stayed with local families and explored the theme of priorities through divrei Torah, ruach-filled activities and student-led games. Seuda shelishit was hosted at the Brody home, with many of Naaleh’s Passaic-Clifton families contributing to the warmth of the gathering. Over the course of the Shabbos, the girls formed strong bonds, connecting with all of their peers, even those they don’t share as much time with at school due to their schedules.
Meanwhile, the senior class traveled to Queens to enjoy Shabbos with Naaleh’s Head of School Mrs. Kobre. The girls stayed with families in the area, and had all their meals at the Kobre home, joined by Mrs. Wasserlauf and Mrs. Chanales. The girls helped prepare the meals, enjoyed singing, games and speakers, and strengthened their already deep connections. The weekend culminated in a memorable Motzei Shabbos bonfire, where the seniors reminisced and shared cherished memories from their transformative four years at Naaleh.
