Naaleh’s Chesed Mission, in conjunction with NCSY and the OU, embarked on a transformative journey to Ft. Myers, Florida. On the first day, the students, accompanied by Naaleh’s Assistant Principal Elissa Chanales, worked tirelessly with Inspiritus, aiding in the restoration of homes devastated by Hurricane Ian. They encountered homeowners who had faced unimaginable challenges, from living in their cars to rebuilding their homes from the ground up. The next day, the students volunteered at One More Child and the Harry Chapin Food Bank. The mission inspired the students to share gratitude, prioritize the needs of others and recognize the strength of the human spirit—and it reinforced the profound impact of chesed and the potential for Kiddush Hashem in the world.
