Naaleh’s 11th-grade Anatomy and Physiology students were privileged to hear from Rabbi Jason Weiner, who serves as the senior Rabbi and director of the Spiritual Care Department at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. Rabbi Weiner discussed the halachas of organ donation and reviewed the various halachic parameters that often arise in a hospital setting. Rabbi Weiner answered questions from the students and went through much of the halacha that contributes to the many conflicting options in this fascinating and important field of study.
