Naaleh hosted Ms. Leah Bader, founder of Eshkolet, to meet with a group of students who have signed up for the Eshkolet peer tutoring program. This is Naaleh’s second year running this program, which aims to foster academic growth and cooperation. At the meeting, the aspiring mentors gained skills to support students in lower grades in subjects like Chumash, Navi, science and math. As the girls enjoyed a pizza lunch, they bonded over their excitement to get to know the younger grades, the opportunity to do a chesed within the school and their enthusiasm to work toward their own, and their mentees’, academic success. They are looking forward to more gatherings over the course of the year where they will receive training and feedback from Mrs. Bader.
