On Thursday, October 7, to bring awareness to World Bullying Prevention Month, Naaleh joined schools across the country in wearing blue with the #BLUEUP Stand up to Bullying Program. In conjunction with the program, the week’s Advisory class focused on bullying prevention. The curriculum highlighted the role bystanders can play in preventing and responding to bullying, and the students and advisors discussed potential strategies to use when encountering bullying. Through this anti-bullying initiative and the Advisory program at large, Naaleh seeks to create an inclusive and welcoming space for all students, while preparing them to be leaders and advocates for all members of their communities.
