On Friday, November 9, Naaleh students visited with residents of CareOne at Teaneck. Planned by the school’s chesed committee, the program included making fall-themed crafts that will be used by CareOne as centerpieces for their Thanksgiving meal. Decorating turkey pots and leaf-covered mason jars, the students connected with the residents, sharing stories and smiles. The girls then teamed up with a resident to play Thanksgiving bingo! This program is part of the school’s broader chesed initiative, called REACH, which brings various volunteer opportunities to Naaleh’s student body.
