Naaleh’s AP Bio class took a trip to the Regeneron DNA Learning Center for a hands-on DNA lab. The students digested DNA with restriction enzymes and then visualized their DNA fragments using a technique called gel electrophoresis to determine the unknown enzyme. The lab was a great way for the class to experience the biotechnology techniques that they’ve been learning about.
