This past Sunday the Jewish Sports Heritage Association held its first annual induction ceremony to honor some of the world’s greatest Jewish athletes from a variety of sports.

One of the honorees was Fair Lawn’s Naomi Kutin. Kutin and Jacob Labovitz received the Michael Freedman Outstanding Jewish High School Athletes of the Year award.

Kutin has been dubbed ‘Supergirl,”setting adult powerlifting records since her first contest at age 8. Kutin holds at least four powerlifting world records and she isn’t even old enough to vote.
