Ever feel overwhelmed and stressed? Need help in coping with personal situations? Everyone does at some point in their lives. NCJW’s next study group presenter, Beth Sandweiss, on Tuesday, January 24 at 1:00 p.m. at The Shops of Riverside Conference Center, lower level, can help you deal with the challenges we all encounter. Admission, payable at the door, is $5 for members, $10 for non-members.
Ms. Sandweiss is the Director of Mindfulness Programs at Jewish Family Service of MetroWest, NJ. She has been a mental health worker for over 25 years and maintains a private therapy practice in Montclair, where she uses mindfulness-based interventions to treat families, adults and teens. She will explain the concept of mindfulness and its benefits, and give techniques for personal use.
