Netivot Finds Light in the Dark

Netivot’s “midah of the month” is me’afeilah l’orah. Netivot students used the month of Kislev to explore the idea of finding their way in the dark. Pre-primary students searched in the dark for a jug of oil and then used the oil to light a chanukiah. For primary and lower elementary, middle school students dressed up as characters from the Chanukah story. The younger children used flashlights to find them in the dark and then learned something about how each one brought light to the Jewish people in a time of darkness.
