Nevut Holds ‘Ride and Run’ to Benefit Lone Soldiers

Nevut Ride and Run.

(Courtesy of Nevut) This past Sunday, on October 15, Nevut hosted an inspiring Ride and Run event in Haverstraw, New York. This thrilling day was all about rallying behind our incredible IDF lone soldier veterans, and the outpouring of love and support from the community was heartwarming.

Lone soldier David S. He, along with other lone soldiers, was supposed to bike in the event, but was called back to serve.

The spirit of unity and camaraderie that filled the air was absolutely inspiring. As the sun rose, riders from across the Jewish community geared up to ride 50 to 100 miles while dedicated runners tackled a challenging 10K or half marathon, each step echoing their unwavering commitment to our chayalim.

It was a day of unforgettable moments, where the bonds of community and the strength of solidarity shone brightly. The Nevut Ride and Run event was a resounding reminder of the incredible power of coming together for a meaningful cause.

Nevut is working tirelessly to support our IDF lone soldiers. It has put over 70 lone soldiers on planes back to Israel. The organization has collected essential supplies and equipment to send with the returning chayalim, and has provided professional emotional support to lone soldiers, veterans, their parents and their spouses.

These are scary and unprecedented times. Everyone has been searching for a way to contribute and support Israel and the soldiers defending it. Nevut is grateful to be able to facilitate the necessary support that is urgently needed for our lone soldier veterans and their families. To donate please visit nevut.org/ironsword
