JKHA middle school has launched a new initiative for each Rosh Chodesh. Entitled “win it to give it,” each month a raffle is held for Dunkin Donuts gift cards. The students selected in the raffle get to give the gift cards away to someone else in the school community and explain why they deserve it. The program further builds community and allows students to strengthen the Kushner Cares (Community, Accountability, Respect, Empathy and Self-Awareness) social emotional framework that is the bedrock of the JKHA middle school, both inside and outside the classroom.
