The new online kosher meat site, KOSH.com, has set up a weekly pop-up at their Pine Bush, New York farm this summer, featuring freshly grilled meats, poultry, sides, drinks and more.
Under the expert eye of Chef Yos Schwartz of Bal Harbor, Florida, diners can experience a special dining experience in Orange County.
“Warning, if you’re a vegetarian, please do not come,” said one guest, Avrohom Rapoport, while sharing the extensive lineup of steaks and chops being grilled on the custom made four rack Argentinian “plancha” with his Instagram followers.
Starters and sides include lamb chops, a “sausage flight,” barbecue chicken drumsticks and more; mains include the ½ lb marble & grain burger, a 32 oz Tomahawk steak, an eight bone rack of lamb, a 20 oz ribeye, some new cuts called the Denver steak and the flat iron and the “Try It All,” which serves four hungry people three different steaks and lamb chops.
Many guests are spending the summer at bungalow colonies or vacation homes in the Catskills, but others have come from as far away as Florida.
“We follow Chef Yos at home,” explained one Florida couple, “So when we saw that he was cooking up here, we just had to check it out.”
Guests enjoy the menu as well as the farm setting, which includes rustic-chic picnic tables, shade cloth, bales of hay and a one of a kind outdoor dining experience.
KOSH.com was started by chefs and curators who share a passion for quality kosher food. From their custom cuts of marble & grain black angus beef to fish to dairy products and a full selection of chef-curated pantry items, every product is sourced directly from known and trusted producers.
The pop-up is strictly kosher under the supervision of the Star-K, and only an hour and 10 minutes from Teaneck. Their final barbecue will be on August 18. More information is available at kosh.com or
