Gian Paul Gonzalez, a motivational speaker for various NFL teams like the NY Giants and major corporations like Walmart, spoke to Frisch student athletes, their coaches and family and friends at Frisch’s annual Sports barbecue. Gonzalez spoke about being “all in,” no matter the endeavor at hand.
The crowd also enjoyed words from David Ruditzky ’92—who will be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to benefit the Avram Ruditzky z”l Athletic Fund—and a video reel of highlights from an amazing year of sports and sportsmanship at Frisch. The barbecue was the culminating event in a year filled with many victories on the court, but, more importantly, a year that celebrated values close to the heart of Frisch like achdut and pursuing one’s passion.
“I am so proud of all our athletes and their coaches for their dedication and passion they display during the year,” said AC Coren, Director of Frisch Athletics. “Our students give it their all, both on and off the court, and keep sportsmanship and fair play in their minds at all times. Whether they emerge from the season with a trophy or not, that makes them all winners. The barbecue was a perfect way to pay tribute to the people who make Frisch Athletics the great department that it is.”
