During the Nine Days, the campers at Shalom learned all different aspects pertaining to the Nine Days and Tisha B’Av. Older campers ran a food drive for the Helping Hands Pantry and later sorted the goods and packed boxes for recipients. Younger campers concentrated on attainable mitzvot and adding bricks onto the Camp Shalom Kotel wall. The Rishon campers were treated to the Small Wonder Puppet Theater which focused on ahavat Yisrael.
