Yeshivat Frisch’s own Noah Sosland was named a NJ Devils Player of the Month. It’s the first time a Frisch student has received this prestigious honor. During the month of December Sosland posted 16 goals and 8 assists and led the team to the school’s first ever wins vs hockey powerhouses Montclair Kimberly Academy and Verona- Glen Ridge High School. It was noted by a spectator that “It was so special to see him walk into the ceremony with his kippa on and Frisch jersey.” Winners are based off nominations which are received from members of the statewide media that cover high school hockey. The Devils pick players of the month for each month, December through February. Each winner and their guests received tickets to a Devils home game and a certificate presented by a Devils player and RWJ Barnabas Health representative. This is the 31st season of the Devils’ Player of the Month program.
