Noam 6B Knights Also Champs (see here)

After beating Moriah in their semifinal game a week before, the girls on the sixth grade Noam basketball team were ready for their championship game against Yavneh. The game started slowly, with Noam scoring the first basket, and Yavneh right behind them. The teams kept a tight defense which kept the score to only 7-5 Yavneh at halftime. During the third quarter, Noam pulled ahead by a slight margin and the quarter ended with a score of 13-12. As the fourth quarter began, Noam had a number of steals which led to fast-break layups. The Noam Knights won Yeshivat Noam’s first girls basketball sixth grade championship.

Throughout their season, the Noam Lady Knights were not only a team on the court, but off the court as well. From the first practice, the team began to form a strong bond which is what ultimately led them to their victory.

Ariela Herman coached the team through their undefeated season.
