Noam Genia Horn Judaic Studies Program Hosts Parent-Child Learning

Yeshivat Noam Fourth Grade Parent-Child Learning program, which is part of the Genia Horn Judaic Studies Program, started with a meaningful tefillah experience followed by breakfast and then study. The study segment had several components. Initially, students taught their parents the first perek of Mishna Masechet Brachot using the pictorial charts they created in class. Next, the room came alive with a competitive online quiz using parent smart phones and school-provided ipads. The interactive experience was an exciting review of the perek. The program concluded with chavruta-style learning of the meaning of kavannah and the meaning of shema.
