(Noam Sports) Bringing home their third win, and second shutout in a row, the Yeshivat Noam girls get excited as they dominate this year’s hockey season. With the incredible leadership of their coach, Leora Sulimanoff, and assistant coach, Alexa Leffel, an amazing hockey player herself on the Frisch Ice hockey and floor hockey team, these hard working girls beat the aggressive WDS team in a 6-0 game! After previously beating Ramaz 8-3 and Yavneh 7-0, these extraordinary players are on an undefeated winning streak! Starting off the game, seventh grader and offensemen Mia Rauzman scored an incredible two goals. Eighth grade offensman and co-captain of the team, Gaby Hoffer scored a hat trick with some great assists from eighth grade offensman Yael Saks. Defenseman and co-captain Orli Scharf scored a goal in the second. Her strong defense has been a great asset to the team. Aggressive defense by Miri Kilimnick and Becca Shatzkes were added to the game. This will be goalie and co-captain Lily Acton’s second shutout game in a row. She is a wall in the goal. The whole team has worked hard and is showing incredible team spirit and good sportsmanship. After two hard years with no team due to covid, everyone is excited to watch as these girls bring home some more wins, and hopefully the championship!
