NORPAC Hosts Chairmen Kevin Brady and Michael McCaul (R-TX) in Closter

(Courtesy of NORPAC) The Kazmir family recently hosted a House of Representatives Leadership dinner event in Closter, New Jersey, for Congressmen Kevin Brady (R-TX) and Michael McCaul (R-TX).

Kevin Brady is chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, considered by many to be the most powerful committee in Congress with jurisdiction over taxes, health care, Social Security, Medicare, international trade and welfare. Brady is part of the GOP national leadership.

Michael McCaul chairs the Homeland Security Committee, which seeks to address the al Qaeda-Hezbollah terrorist threat, border security, cyber security and maintaining the Department of Homeland Security to ensure it is capable of carrying out its core mission of protecting the United States. He is also a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and is on the short list of members to succeed retiring Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) as the next committee leader.

This private event was held to raise funds for the Republican National Congressional Committee. Chairman Brady and Chairman McCaul took questions from a roundtable to discuss issues related to national security, taxes, and the US-Israel relationship.

Both McCaul and Brady won their respective primaries this year, and are running for re-election in November.
