NORPAC Hosts Congressman Leonard Lance (R-NJ) in Teaneck

(Courtesy of NORPAC) On a recent morning, Tammy and Moshe Greenberg hosted a NORPAC event in support of Congressman Leonard Lance (R-NJ) at their home in Teaneck. Lance serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and he is vice chair of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade. His district is just west of Edison and Highland Park. He formerly led the House Republican Israel Caucus for the 114th Congress and is a current co-chair.

During the event, Lance discussed his record on US-Israel relations and working on bipartisan issues. He is a member of the House Problem Solvers Caucus, a bipartisan group made up of equal Democratic and Republican members, along with fellow New Jersey Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ).

Lance was one of the first co-sponsors of the United States-Israel Security Assistance Authorization Act of 2018 (H.R. 5141), guaranteeing a minimum $3.3 billion to Israel in the coming fiscal year. He was also an early co-sponsor of the anti-BDS bill, Israel Anti-Boycott Act (H.R. 1697), which protects American businesses from pressure by international organizations to boycott Israel.

Having won his primary election, Lance will be running for re-election to the House of Representatives this November.
