NORPAC Hosts U.S. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) in Englewood

On Sunday morning, Careena and Drew Parker hosted a NORPAC pro-Israel event for Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) at their home in Englewood.

Cotton actively served in the U.S. Army from 2005 to 2009. In 2012, at age 35, he defeated his Democratic opponent in Arkansas by 22 points to win a seat in the House of Representatives. Nine months later, Cotton announced he would challenge incumbent Democrat Mark Pryor in his State’s 2014 senatorial election, which he won by 17 points.

During the event, Senator Cotton addressed over 45 guests at the Parker residence about his stance on U.S.-Israel relations. He sits on the Armed Services Committee, an important committee in terms of developing the U.S.-Israel missile defense program and its budget. He also serves on the Banking Committee, which is responsible for bills related to sanctions against Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.

Cotton is currently serving his first term in the Senate and will be running for re-election this year.
