(Courtesy of JPost) Mayor Eric Adams on Monday announced the creation of the New York City-Israel Economic Council during The Jerusalem Post Conference in New York City alongside Nir Barkat, Israel’s minister of economy and industry. Adams called the partnership “a gateway to the U.S. market for Israeli businesses.” They signed the declaration during the conference. Adams said, “I’m not a new friend to Israel — I’m an old friend, and I will continue to be.”
