Offit Kurman Deepens Its New York Presence With Addition of Six-Attorney Team

(Courtesy of Offit Kurman) Offit Kurman recently announced an affiliation with the law firm of Snitow Kaminetsky Rosner & Snitow, LLP (SKRS), a high-end litigation and transactional boutique based in New York. Six lawyers from SKRS, led by well-known attorney Franklyn H. Snitow, will be joining the firm. The SKRS lawyers serve an entrepreneurial client base with full-service capabilities ranging from complex litigation involving cutting-edge issues in commercial, matrimonial and employment law, to sophisticated transactional work for private corporate, not-for-profit and individual clients. The SKRS lawyers also serve as counselors to the Orthodox Jewish community in batei din.

“Frank Snitow and his team of lawyers at SKRS join Offit Kurman with a diverse and successful law practice and a range of experience that both complements and strengthens our firm, particularly in the areas of litigation, employment, business transactions and family law,” said firm CEO Ted Offit. “With the addition of the lawyers from the SKRS team, Offit Kurman will be an even better law firm.”

Offit Kurman’s affiliation with SKRS is part of the firm’s deliberate strategy to substantially enhance its presence in the New York metropolitan region. With the addition of the SKRS lawyers, New York City becomes Offit Kurman’s largest office location. The firm opened its Manhattan office in 2018 with two lawyers, and the firm will have over 50 lawyers in Manhattan following the SKRS addition. Offit Kurman began in 1987 as a boutique firm in Baltimore County, Maryland, and has grown to 15 offices with 250 lawyers serving clients nationwide. Offit Kurman is ranked on American Lawyer’s Am Law 200 list and counted among Law360’s Top Law Firms.

The lawyers joining Offit Kurman from SKRS include:
