Norman Blumenthal, PhD, the Zachter Family Chair in Trauma and Crisis Counseling at OHEL, and director of the OHEL Miriam Center for Trauma, Bereavement and Crisis Response, presented a “Rising From Divorce” workshop to a group of northern New Jersey school psychologists. The event was held in OHEL’s Teaneck offices on March 7. OHEL’s groundbreaking film has been seen by thousands in the community, and Dr. Blumenthal’s accompanying workshops for educators are based on OHEL’s new Divorce Sourcebook for Educators—a program to help ensure that children of divorce can better thrive and adjust to circumstances beyond their control.
