Ohr Yisroel talmidim continue to add learning sedarim to their schedules throughout their day. With all of the rebbeim in the building full time, many talmidim began the new zman arranging chavrusas and chaburas with their rebbeim during the various breaks in the day. Some are covering ground in the masechta being studied, others exploring topics in halacha or machshava and others are simply seeking chizuk and support during this difficult time.

Ohr Yisroel’s philosophy centers around Talmud Torah lishma. Recognizing that students learn in the yeshiva out of their commitment to Torah rather than for grades or credit, it is especially meaningful to see so many students adding on learning to their daily schedules. The beis medrash is bustling with activity throughout the day and promises to do so throughout the winter zman.
